what it is

Core engineer, Sports Media Inc

MediaConnect to MediaLive to MediaPackage to CloudFront with HLS/DASH, FairPlay and Widevine DRM through SPEKE, and server-side ad insertion with MediaTailor. Plus the serverless ingestion pipeline and the operator CMS that fed it.

what I did

  • A Step Functions pipeline that parsed provider MRSS feeds with per-provider XPath mapping templates, GUID dedupe and per-item validation logs.
  • A React operator CMS: ingestion setup, metadata, job status from submitted to playable, and a real CDN playback check before an asset could go live.
